Monoclonal antibodies to rat NKG2D (NKRP-2)
Stanford researchers have developed a novel monoclonal antibody to the rat NKG2D protein, a major triggering receptor of Natural Killer (NK) cells and T cells. This receptor is known to play a role in viral infections, tumor defenses, and transplantation. The antibody would be useful for flow cytometry and other studies of this receptor in rat models.

The inventors are continuing to characterize these antibodies.

- Unique - no antibodies to rat NKG2D are commercially available
