Monoclonal Antibody F59

These two monoclonal antibodies (F59 and S58) are widely used throughout the world as reagents in basic research laboratories. These antibodies recognized different gene products for the myosin heavy chain of all vertebrates including humans. They distinquish the two basic type of muscle fibers in skeletal muscle and distinguish the atrial from the ventricular muscle cells from one another.
