Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) Mutants

Stanford Reference:

95-040

Abstract

Stanford researchers developed patented GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) mutants with intense fluorescence around 488nm. GFP expression is observable minutes after induction, with intensities an order of magnitude higher than wild-type. These mutants have a wide variety of applications in research and screening and are available for licensing directly from Stanford.
